Alexandra is a registered psychologist who works with older adolescents and adults. She has experience helping individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, low self esteem, chronic pain, adjustment difficulties, anger, assertiveness, and interpersonal issues. Her therapeutic approach is client-focused and collaborative. Alexandra adopts a compassionate, open-minded approach to each person and offers supportive guidance and evidence-based strategies to her clients.

In her practice, Alexandra draws on training in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness based CBT. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and adopts an attachment-informed approach in her work. Alexandra received a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Clinical Psychology from Acadia University, and has experience working in hospital and university mental health care settings. Currently, Alexandra is working full time in private practice.
