Dr. Dayna Lee-Baggley (R0598) is the Director and psychologist at Dr. Lee-Baggley and Associates, a virtual health psychology clinic (https://drleebaggley.com). We provide individual and group interventions for chronic disease and health-related topics (e.g., weight management, sleep, chronic pain). We also specialize in training (e.g., behavioural change skills, chronic disease management) and psychological services for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers including pandemic-related topics (e.g., pandemic burnout, moral injury for frontline providers). We also provide evidence-based workplace training and interventions for employees, team, and leaders including workplace mental health strategies, diversity-equity-and-inclusion training, executive/leadership coaching, trauma informed leadership, burnout recovery leadership, conflict resolution, and workplace restoration.
Dr. Lee-Baggley provides evidence-based therapy, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational enhancement, and mindfulness. She is a peer-reviewed trainer in ACT, a designation currently held by only six others in Canada and provides training and supervision in ACT. She is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at Dalhousie University and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Saint Mary’s University. She is the author of the book “Healthy Habits Suck: How to get off the couch & live a healthy life…even if you don’t want to.”
