Dr. Jennifer Hendrick provides psychological services to adults who are impacted by depression, other mood disorders, low self-esteem, and stress in their workplace or personal lives. She also assists individuals who are experiencing difficult life transitions, such as loss/bereavement, separation/divorce, retirement, or taking on a caregiving role.
She has a particular interest in Health Psychology and the challenge of coping with medical problems. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Hendrick has worked for more than 26 years in a tertiary care hospital where she helps people deal with a variety of chronic, life-threatening, and/or traumatic illnesses and conditions.
Dr. Hendrick provides client-centered psychological services, using evidence-based therapies (cognitive behavioural, ACT, mindfulness-based, psychoeducational, interpersonal) to achieve clients’ goals in collaboration with them. Self-referrals or referrals from health care professionals are welcome. Dr. Hendrick provides a safe and affirming environment for the LGBTQQI communities.
