Dr. Jennifer Hendrick provides psychological services to adults who are impacted by depression, other mood disorders, low self-esteem, and stress in their workplace or personal lives.  She also assists individuals who are experiencing difficult life transitions, such as loss/bereavement, separation/divorce, retirement, or taking on a caregiving role.

She has a particular interest in Health Psychology and the challenge of coping with medical problems.  In addition to her private practice, Dr. Hendrick has worked for more than 27 years in a tertiary care hospital where she helps people deal with a variety of chronic, life-threatening, and/or traumatic illnesses and conditions.

Dr. Hendrick completed her psychological training at the University of Western Ontario (now Western University) and Queen’s University, as well as the Ottawa General Hospital.

Dr. Hendrick provides client-centered psychological services, using evidence-based therapies (cognitive behavioural, ACT, mindfulness-based, psychoeducational, interpersonal) to achieve clients’ goals in collaboration with them.  Dr. Hendrick is CACBT certified in cognitive behavioural therapy.  Self-referrals or referrals from health care professionals are welcome.  Dr. Hendrick provides a safe and affirming environment for the LGBTQQI communities.
