Local child psychologist, Dr. Ayala Gorodzinsky, will present on sleep in childhood. There are various factors which can influence children’s sleep, including screen use, activity level during the day, worries, pain, and emotions. Dr. Gorodzinsky will discuss how these factors can be recognized and managed. She will also provide general information about recommended hours of sleep across childhood. Dr. Gorodzinsky will also discuss general ideas on how to improve sleep in children who are not experiencing any particular concerns and are still having difficulty with sleep. This presentation is geared towards an audience of parents and caregivers. Childhood includes many stages of development, and the content of the presentation will include information relevant for children 4 to 18 years of age. The presentation will be followed by some time for Q&A with the audience.
