Celine Robert

I am a Psychologist registered with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (NSBEP) and a member of the Association of Psychologists of Nova Scotia (APNS). I graduated with a Bachelor in Psychology, a Master’s in Clinical and Health Psychology, and a Master’s of Advanced Studies in Clinical Psycho-sociology from two universities in Switzerland (University of Lausanne and University of Fribourg). I worked in psychiatric hospitals, in a university counselling center, and in not-for profit, community-based organizations in Switzerland and in Canada.

I work with adults and young adults. My therapy techniques are influenced by a variety of evidence-based psychotherapy approaches, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Schema Therapy, and more recently Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These approaches are helping me to provide therapy for a wide range of challenges that my clients have experienced in their life. My integrative psychotherapy approach also allows me to offer tailored services, which are more beneficial to my clients and help them move towards their values and attain their goals.

Le français est ma langue maternelle et, ayant fait mes études en Suisse, j’offre des services de thérapie en français pour adultes et jeunes adultes. J’utilise des techniques thérapeutiques dont l’efficacité a été scientifiquement démontrée, telles que l’approche cognitive-comportementale, l’approche centrée sur le client, la thérapie des schémas, ou plus récemment, la thérapie d’acceptation et de l’engagement.
