APNS Committees

The APNS governing body is managed by the Executive Committee which conducts the business for the Association with the assistance of the Strategic Management Team.

Standing Committees

Standing Committees are formed by a motion of the Executive to aid in managing different sectors of the Association. Appointments to these committees may be made by the Executive, in consultation with the committees, when appropriate. The current list of Standing Committees within APNS are:

• The Advocacy Committee
• The Cultural Diversity Committee
• The Continuing Education Committee
• The Private Practice Committee
• The Post Disaster Services Committee
• The Nominations/Elections Committee

Interest Groups

APNS facilitates the formation of interaction among members with common interests. These are not formal committees but are groups of psychologists interested in a particular topic that are facilitated through APNS.
