Student Research and Leadership Development BMS Scholarship

Sponsored by BMS, the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) and the Council of Professional Associations of Psychology (CPAP) wish to support student research and leadership/training/practice development in all areas of psychology. 

For 2023:

•             Up to two (2) awards will be dispersed per project for research-based submissions, at amounts up to $2,500.00 per application.

•             Up to five (5) awards will be dispersed to individuals wishing to pursue training, either practice or leadership focused, at amounts up to $500.00 per application.

The CPAP Dr. Rhonda Matters Memorial Award – Deadline September 30th  

The Council of Provincial Associations of Psychologists (CPAP) created this award as a memorial to honour long-time CPAP member from P.E.I., Dr. Rhonda Matters.
 
Dr. Matters was a well-respected Psychologist whose career modelled a lifetime commitment to the profession. The award recognizes long-term involvement and engagement in one’s professional association and significant or sustained contribution to the profession of psychology at the provincial, territorial, national, and international levels. This is an annual national award, which invites members of the provincial and territorial associations across Canada to nominate one person. Last year’s inaugural award was presented to Nova Scotia’s Dr. David Pilon.

Fellow of the Association honours those individuals who have made significant and enduring contributions to APNS. They are psychologists who have helped shape the Association and have contributed to the development of psychology in Nova Scotia.

The In-person APNS Annual General Meeting is Back! Friday, June 9, 2023
