Dr. Nunes has been a registered psychologist since 2012. She completed her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of Western Ontario and her PhD in Counselling Psychology at the University of Calgary.

Dr. Nunes is a specialist in Anxiety Disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders. Within the anxiety spectrum, she treats general anxiety, worry, panic, social anxiety, health anxiety and phobias. Within the obsessive compulsive realm, she treats Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Trichotillomania (hair pulling) and Excoriation (skin picking) Disorder.

Dr. Nunes uses an evidence-based treatment called Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); it is the most effective type of treatment for anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders.
