Dr Simon B. Sherry is a tenured Professor in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Dalhousie University. He holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Dr Sherry is a specialist in assessing and treating depression, anxiety, perfectionism, personality disorders, addictions, and eating disorders. He also assesses and treats a wide variety of other mental health difficulties.

Dr Sherry's research investigates the role of personality in mental health problems. He has published 180 scientific articles and contributed as a lead or collaborating investigator on research grants totaling more than $5.5 million. Dr Sherry has received various awards for his scientific research and clinical practice. Wanting to help more people, in 2018, Dr Sherry and his wife founded CRUX Psychology, a team of 65 doctoral-level psychologists. CRUX provides assessment, individual therapy, couples therapy and family therapy. Assessment and therapy are available online and in person. CRUX serves Atlantic Canada, Quebec, and British Columbia in French and English.
