Jennifer Denney-Hazel is a clinical psychologist who works with children and adolescents. Jennifer graduated from Acadia University with a Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology in 2005. Jennifer’s practicum training occurred within a private paediatric psychology practice. Following graduation, Jennifer began working as a member of a rural multidisciplinary outpatient mental health clinic. While working in the public sector, Jennifer also worked within a private practice setting. Since 2013, Jennifer has worked solely within the private sector.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has enjoyed working closely with schools and other health professionals and believes in collaboration. Jennifer provides therapy to children, adolescents, and their families for a variety of issues including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, parenting, attention and behavioural issues. Jennifer uses research based/supported treatment approaches to therapy. Jennifer also offers comprehensive assessment exploring learning, attention, and mental health issues. She has a particular interest in assessing children and adolescent to help identify and address barriers that may be interfering with individuals meeting their potential.
