I am a Registered Psychologist in private practice offering secure virtual therapy to adults age 25 and older across Nova Scotia. I work with people who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by anxiety, depression, grief, infertility, trauma, or other painful life experiences. I provide a supportive space to help you better understand yourself, feel more grounded, and move toward meaningful change.

Many of the people I work with are functioning on the outside while struggling internally with difficult emotions, old patterns, or experiences that continue to affect their relationships, work, confidence, or sense of self. You may be looking for therapy that goes deeper while also offering practical ways to feel steadier day to day.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence based. I draw on client-centred talk therapy, practical coping strategies, and EMDR Therapy to support clients in understanding their experiences, noticing patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and building skills to manage anxiety, mood, stress responses, and overwhelming emotions in daily life. When appropriate, EMDR can help process distressing experiences and reduce the intensity of symptoms connected to them.

My style is compassionate, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I work best with clients who are curious about themselves, open to reflection, and interested in therapy that balances meaningful conversation with practical support and, when helpful, trauma-focused processing through EMDR. Together, we focus on understanding what is happening, reducing distress, and supporting change at a pace that feels manageable.
