Dr. Norann Richard received her Masters and PhD in Clinical Psychology from Simon Fraser University. As a registered psychologist, Dr. Richard provides psychological assessments and psychotherapy to adults with a variety of concerns.

Dr. Richard specializes in adjustment to chronic pain, disability, illness, and injury.  She has worked with a variety of different medical conditions and injuries, including a variety of pain conditions and concussions, in her current work with CBI Health, as well as in her previous work with the University of Wisconsin Health system. She also enjoys working with issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress management. She has particular experience working with people with physical or psychological workplace injuries, including first responders. She has worked extensively treating issues related to recovering from motor vehicle accidents. She also enjoys working with women around issues related to transitions to motherhood and perinatal mental health, as well as addressing issues relating to perimenopause/menopause.

She takes an integrative approach to psychological services, often using techniques from cognitive-behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, interpersonal therapy, and mindfulness approaches.
