I am a registered psychologist who enjoys working with adults grappling with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, perfectionism, emotion dysregulation, self-harm, trauma, borderline personality disorder, cancer and cancer-related concerns. I specialize in working with eating disorders and body image issues and I have formal training in Emotion-Focused Therapy which I use to treat numerous clinical concerns. The role of emotions greatly informs my work. I value the wealth of knowledge that emotions can offer us, and in using this approach I promote change by helping my clients explore, understand, regulate, and transform their emotions. In addition to these specialties, I have experience and training in a number of other therapeutic approaches including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I strive to foster a warm, supportive, and genuine relationship with all my clients, and am committed to working collaboratively with you to meet your goals. In order to do this, I draw on and integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches to best meet my client’s needs based on their personal experiences, beliefs and worldview.
