Lindsay Wyatt

I am a Clinical Psychologist (candidate register) at Green Leaf Psychological Services in Halifax. I received my Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology from Acadia University and my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology from York University.

I am trained in client-centered therapy, and constantly strive to provide an environment that is genuine, empathic, accepting, safe, and totally individualized. I use a variety of evidence-based psychotherapies (for e.g., Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy). I also leave tons of room for humour, creativity, play, and collaboration in the therapy room, as these can often enhance trust and build a strong and meaningful therapeutic connection! My goal is to work with each client to meet them where they are and develop a plan that feels attainable and that reflects their uniqueness as an individual.

I offer treatments for adults (19+) facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, panic, relationship issues, phobias, etc. I also have dual training in Clinical Neuropsychology and am thus interested in providing therapy to individuals struggling with neurocognitive considerations (for e.g., post-concussive identity issues/ anxiety). I am also accepting referrals for adult (19+) ADHD assessments.
