Angelina MacLellan-Muise takes a collaborative approach to therapy and works with both individuals and couples. At the current time, Ms. MacLellan-Muise is only accepting clients who can attend sessions virtually (i.e., video sessions).

She has formal training and experience facilitating treatment for individuals experiencing anxiety and/or mood issues, relationship issues, and adjustment issues (e.g. separation, family changes, educational/career changes). Ms. MacLellan-Muise can also assist individuals who are coping with grief, stress, and burnout. She is trained in Emotion Focused Couples (EFT-C) Therapy and works with couples to improve communication and build a stronger connection.

Ms. MacLellan-Muise believes a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to progress and she fosters an environment that is warm, non-judgmental, and supportive built upon empathy, openness, and trust. Ms. MacLellan-Muise offers evidence-based approaches for individuals with a focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), depending on the client’s presenting issue and therapy goals.

Ms. MacLellan-Muise holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. Prior to graduate school, Ms. MacLellan-Muise completed her Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Psychology with a Special Concentration in Forensic Psychology, at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
