Barry Wiser

Dr. Barry Wiser received his doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver in Colorado. He then moved to Yarmouth where he has had a lengthy career providing psychology services for the residents of South West Nova Scotia. Dr. Wiser has extensive experience with treatment for a wide range of mental health and health psychology issues for adults. He utilizes evidence-based approaches such as CBT tailored to the needs of individuals with whom he works. He collaborates with these individuals to jointly determine agreed upon therapeutic goals, and options to work towards those goals and desired outcomes.
