Jennifer is a psychologist who received a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Concordia University. Jennifer has experience assisting individuals dealing with grief, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, low self-esteem, challenging transitions, adjustment, anger, and assertiveness. She also works with clients who have experienced a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and with clients and family members affected by Huntington’s disease.
Jennifer tailors her approach to the person she is working with. She primarily uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), but also incorporates Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), Interpersonal and Solution-Focused approaches into her work, and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She has years of experience delivering both individual and group therapy in university and private practice settings. Jennifer builds a space for her clients to feel safe and understood, and as a therapist is approachable and easy to talk to.
