Sarah is a Psychologist (Cand. Reg.) working with adult and late adolescent (ages 16-18) clientele to improve their emotional/psychological health and relationships by accessing their inner wisdom and resilience. She is a client-centered and strength-based clinician who is committed to establishing a strong therapeutic relationship with client’s, taking an integrated approach to treatment.  

 

Sarah holds a Master of Arts in Applied Psychology from Laurentian University (Sudbury, ON) and has experience working in various clinical settings, currently offering services in private practice and community mental health. She has experience working with clients from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds with varied presentations, including depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, disordered eating, personality disorders, and criminogenic need.

 

Sarah delivers various evidence-based practices including Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET), Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, and has training in Motivational Interviewing and Good Psychiatric Management for BPD (GPM). Her foundational training is in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), which places great emphasis on recognition, acceptance, and processing of emotions via experiential methods. The importance of emotion and the vital information it provides informs much of her clinical work. Sarah also has expertise in conducting a variety of psychological assessments.
