Derry MacKichan

Mr. MacKichan earned his Master’s degree in 2011 from Mount Saint Vincent University. He is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst specializing in Applied Behaviour Analysis. Using Applied Behaviour Analysis, Mr. MacKichan has provided service to youth with complex behaviour and mental health needs.

He also works with parents, families, and caregivers on managing difficult behavior in children, adolescents, and young adults. He has worked in the public P-12 system where he has provided services to children, adolescents, and young adults in the areas of learning difficulties, study skills, self-esteem, low mood, worry, school refusal, and autism spectrum disorders.

Mr. MacKichan’s treatment approach draws upon Applied Behaviour Analysis and cognitive-behaviour techniques. Mr. MacKichan offers services in English.
