Dr Patricia Gerrior specializes in mental health supports for children, youth, families and young adults (1-23 years). She has many years of experience helping clients with anxiety, depression, complex relationships, trauma, abuse, autism, separated and blended families, grief reactions, and behaviors.
Dr. Gerrior uses a variety of treatment approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Motivational Interviewing (MI) adapted for youth and young adults. Play based therapy and parenting support is available for younger children.
Dr Gerrior is also trained in developing Functional Behavioral Assessments and interventions based on Positive Behavioral Supports for children and youth with behavioral and developmental disorders.
Clients can expect to learn effective strategies and solutions that are practical, meaningful, relationship-based, positive and pro-active.
