Dr. Sarah Lade (she/her; NS #C10949) has a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from McMaster University. She has competencies in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology. She completed her residency with the Saskatoon and Area Predoctoral Psychology Residency program. Her doctoral research examined qualitative dimensions of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in Military and Public Safety Personnel, with a focus on Military Sexual Trauma.
Dr. Lade’s clinical experiences span public and private healthcare settings. She conducts neuropsychological and psychodiagnostic assessments, using a therapeutic assessment lens. Dr. Lade provides treatment from a variety of intervention approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills (DBT-skills), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
She is passionate about working with individuals with brain-based disorders, including neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as traumatic brain injuries. Dr. Lade supports clients with a variety of presenting Psychological conditions, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), mood disorders (Depression, Bipolar disorder), anxiety disorders (Social Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety, Panic disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder), developmental conditions (Autism Spectrum disorder, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity disorder), complex grief, uncomplicated substance use issues, and personality difficulties/personality disorders. She supports clients of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, along with gender-identity-related challenges, with a gender-affirming care approach.
