Kelly Bowen

Kelly completed her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology at Saint Mary’s University and Masters degree in Transpersonal Counselling Psychology at Naropa University in Boulder Colorado. She has provided crisis and trauma informed therapy having worked in the US, BC and Alberta in both private and government funded organizations.

She has a passion for working with adults, young adults, and parents. Her areas of expertise include trauma resolution, post traumatic stress disorder, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, developmental / attachment trauma, sexual abuse / assault and parenting concerns. She has specialized training to support clients with these challenges including Integrated Body Psychotherapy, Trauma Focused- CBT, Mindfulness based practice and Gestalt Therapy.

You can expect sessions to be client-centered and relationship focused providing you with a safe and compassionate space. She enjoys her work and the opportunity to support individuals in developing a deeper sense of awareness and transition towards healing.
