Dr. Tara Power is a doctoral level Clinical Psychologist specializing in formal psychological and neuropsychological assessments. She is licensed to practice in both Nova Scotia and Ontario. Her specialty training focuses on the areas of Neuropsychology, Rehabilitation, and Health Psychology and she has been performing independent medical examinations, assessments and clinical work since 2004. In addition to her PhD in Clinical Psychology, she has also completed Post-Doctoral work with the National Cancer Institute of Canada and was licensed to practice in Alberta, prior to moving to Nova Scotia in 2010. She holds a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, and is a former member of the bar of Ontario. Most recently, she has successfully qualified as a Certified Medicolegal Expert (CMLE-O) and obtained her certificate in Catastrophic Impairment Evaluation (C-CAT MB) with the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators and the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability. Her experience includes in-person and virtual assessments under the jurisdictions of Alberta, Ontario and all four of the Atlantic provinces.
